Welcome to Rowland Avenue School
Rowland Avenue Elementary School is a destination and a journey. Rowland Avenue supports, challenges, and inspires learning for each student based on their individual needs. We commit ourselves to maintaining a safe campus and positive learning environment. All are welcome, respected, valued, and an important part of our school. We encourage home and community support. At Rowland Avenue, instructional goals align with California Standards. Students know what we expect and become prepared for success. We give students opportunities to reach their potential and meet their goals. At Rowland Avenue, we encourage each child to strive for academic success. We expect our students to be lifelong learners in a diverse world.

Epic Build
As a Coding Magnet School, Rowland students will complete 3 Epic Builds to gain knowledge in computer science. For our first Epic Build, students completed an assignment on Scratch, learned vocabulary associated with computer programming, and presented their projects to friends and family.
