  • Traweek Summer School Bridge Program

    Hello Titans!

Traweek is pleased to announce the availability of a summer Math and English Language Arts enrichment program program to all interested Titan Families!  The optional course will run from June 8th until July 3rd with a focus on reviewing this year’s concepts and previewing next year’s material. Traweek has designed the curriculum so that students can work through it independently via Google Classroom but we will have a teacher available online to answer questions daily using Google Meet at the times listed in the Google Classroom. Students do not need to attend these daily sessions.

Students enrolled in ESY summer school should not participate in this program and students enrolled in APEX math should not participate in the math component of this program. If you are interested, you do not need to apply. Students simply need to log onto Google Classroom and accept the invitation under their classes tab.

Thank you and have a great day!

SACRAMENTO—State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson has announced that 22 new high-performing California middle schools have been recognized in the 2017–18 Schools to Watch-Taking Center Stage program. They join 24 previously chosen schools whose sustained progress will allow them to retain their “Schools to Watch” designation.

  • Titan Femineers Program Update:

Traweek is one of 10 Middle Schools that participate in the Femineers Program.  Cal Poly Pomona College of Engineering created this program to inspire girls to pursue STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) in their school-aged years and future careers.  This after-school and weekend program provides 6th, 7th, & 8th-grade girls the opportunity to make connections with female mentors and college counseling while building a sustainable community of current and future female STEAM leaders.  The Femineers group from Traweek will create wearable technology projects and build creative robots that are placed on display during the Cal Poly Pomona’s Femineers’ Showcase in the spring.  For more information about applying for the Femineers program during 2019-2020, please contact Mr. Myers or Ms. Warschaw.  Go Titans!
