Hi. Welcome to Adult Transition Program Covina (ATP). My name is Mary Montoya. This is my 16th year in special education. I have a duo credential in Special Education Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe. I have worked with students ranging from pre school to high school and young adults. I have conducted Home Hospital Instruction after school for the past ten years to both General and Special Education students.

At the ATP program we use BASICs framework to educate our students in Five Domains which are:  FUNCTIONAL ACADEMICS, DOMESTIC, VOCATIONAL SKILLS, COMMUNITY AND RECREATION / LEISURE.  We have a great variety of Instructional Aides, Health Aides and Physical Health Aides. I am so blessed and grateful for all the support my staff offers in the classroom. At ATP we make safety and well being a priority. I am currently in the process of completing the masters program and looking forward to a very productive and enjoyable 21/22 school year.
