Students will be instructed on how to take dictations and create transcriptions using shorthand. Medical and legal terminology is also covered, and students are taught to develop techniques for reporting in real-time during court hearings, trials and depositions.

Tri-Community Adult Education is a Certified Court Reporting School approved by the Court Reporters Board of California and the National Court Reporters Association. In this era of technology, train to be a real-time court reporter in the court and deposition field and related careers.
