Welcome to the 24-25 school year at the Covina-Valley Children’s Center!!

I am humbled and honored to serve as the Principal of our highly accomplished school community! I will begin my 16th year in the Covina-Valley Unified School District, where I have served as both a teacher and administrator. I’m so very proud to be a part of the Children’s Center Family.

The Children’s Center is the base for a number of programs that run on the site, or at the Elementary and Middle School sites throughout the district.  The Children’s Center offers programs for students in Pre-K to Middle School.  Those programs are the State Preschool Program, Special Education Programs for District and SELPA students, as well as the After School Programs Kids’ Korner and Elevo (ASES and Elevate).   

As a school staff, we participate in a continuous loop of reflecting upon our instructional practices and analyzing student growth/success. While we really do have so much to be proud of as a school community, there will always be room for improvement. As we begin the 24-25 school year, I look forward to increasing our partnership with our families to continue to support the academic and social/emotional well-being of ALL students. Working together, the potential of ALL students is limitless!

On behalf of the Children’s Center teachers and staff, we remain committed to providing our students with a rigorous instructional program and a caring social environment that will ensure the educational excellence of ALL students! The Children’s Center is indeed a unique and supportive environment that values ALL individuals!
