2024-25
On November 18, 2024, the District and the Covina Unified Education Association (CUEA) convened for the fourth negotiation session of the school year. During this meeting, tentative agreements (TAs) were reached on Article 11: Transfers and Reassignments and Article 12: Evaluation Procedures.
The parties are scheduled to reconvene on December 4, 2024, to continue negotiations.
Below are the tentative agreements (TAs) for Articles 11 and 12 that were tentatively agreed upon during today’s session.
On November 4, 2024, the District and the Covina Unified Education Association (CUEA) met for the third time this school year for negotiations. In the first part of the session, CUEA passed a counterproposal to the District on Article 11, Transfers and Reassignment, as well as a counterproposal for Article 12, Evaluation Procedures. After a caucus, the teams met again, and the District submitted a counterproposal to CUEA on Article 12, Evaluation Procedures. The parties did not exchange any additional proposals at the November 4 session.
