The Covina-Valley Unified School District is dedicated to the belief that students with autism spectrum disorder need access to a variety of services and placement options to meet their individual needs.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classes designed for students with a diagnosis of Autism or who are identified with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and require specialized methods in the following areas: communication, structured environments, behavior supports, social skills, and sensory needs. Covina- Valley Unified School Districts hosts some of the ASD classes, however the classes are facilitated and monitored by the East San Gabriel Valley SELPA. IEP team recommendation and referral is required to participate in these specialized programs.
