Summer school is not the only resource for recovering credits or doing grade replacement.

Northview High School offers online courses through a program called Apex. Apex online credit recovery offers a wide range of courses, which meet California State Standards.

This resource is only for the purpose of keeping students on track for graduation when they have failed a course or for the purpose of replacing a D grade in an A-G course needed for university acceptance.

The online courses are offered during the school year and during summer school. A teacher credentialed in that academic subject proctors each course and can be contacted online. It is important for students taking one of these courses to be self-motivated and committed to putting in extra time at home or at the public library in order to finish the course on time.
