COVID-19: Coping and Emotional Wellbeing

The infectious illness COVID-19 can be stressful to you, your loved ones and your friends. Children and adults can be spending time watching the news, reading information online or talking on the phone. The Associate Clinical Social Workers at C-VUSD will continue supporting our Students and Families. Please first consider the following information and resources:

  • It is a natural response to feel overwhelmed, sad, anxious and afraid, at times. You may also experience some trouble sleeping.
  • Some may react right away, while others may show signs that they are having a difficult time later.
  • Every person can help.
  • Try to remain positive, remind yourself of your strength, connect with friends and loved ones, identify what you’re feeling and use healthy coping skills.
