Welcome to Las Palmas Middle School
Home of the Lancers
We are proudly the only middle school in Los Angeles County, a National AVID Demonstration School, and a nationally recognized Renaissance recognition school! We are a State and National Schools to Watch. We have developed educational programs designed to provide students with the skills and tools to explore their creativity while developing a strong educational base.

New Student Qualifications
- Students must be fluent in conversational Spanish.
- Students must have a Proficient or Advanced in English (4/A or 3/B)
- Students must score at grade level or above on CAASPP or iReady Exams
- Students must take a scheduled exam provided by Las Palmas Middle School.
