Board of Education
The Covina-Valley Unified Board of Education is comprised of five elected representatives from the communities served by the school district. Each Board member serves a four-year term. The Board is the governing body of the school district. In addition to representing the viewpoints of the many constituency groups served by the Covina-Valley schools, the Board also reflects upon school issues, adopts policies and procedures for efficient and safe operation of schools, employs personnel, delegates authority and responsibility to District office and school officials, and sets the strategic course of the district.
