My name is David Romero and I have been working in Special Education for 13 years.  This year is my fifth year at Covina-Valley Adult Transition.

I went to Cal State Fullerton where I earned both my Bachelor's degree as well as my Special Education Teaching Credential.

When I first began my journey to become an educator, I initially planned on teaching elementary school.  However, after an opportunity to work in Special Education as a para educator while in college, I discovered this awesome population and realized this is who I wanted to spend my time with.  It is awesome to work at ATP, and I truly enjoy my time working with this population.

My wife and I have 3 children, one son and two daughters who attend school in the district.  Our son is in third grade, and we have a daughter in first grade and another in kindergarten.  We are a sports family through and through.  Our kids play baseball, football, cheer, and gymnastics, and we root for our local teams.  Go Dodgers!!

Thanks for all your support with Penny Wars!  Tomorrow is the last day!  Let's finish strong!
