Business Office Skills

  • Acquire the computer skills required in today’s business office environment and earn the Express Employment Professionals Business Office Technology Certification to separate you from the others. This certification is industry recognized and focuses on business communication skills, and the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access and Outlook. This certification allows employers to identify and connect with more skilled candidates, filling gaps in the labor market and jump start careers. Basic computer skills required. Test voucher: $50 to be paid at the time of certification testing.

Bookkeeper

    This course introduces basic accounting principles taught manually, as well as computer-assisted bookkeeping methods using software (i.e. Sage 50, QuickBooks) to record and process transactions for Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Financial Statements. A Certificate of Completion can be earned for Accounting Principles, Sage 50 and QuickBooks by completing Parts 1 & 2 of the Bookkeeper Program. In addition, upon completion of the program you will be eligible to obtain five (5) college credits through Mt. San Antonio College. Completion of coursework takes two terms (24 weeks).
