"During the 2020/21 school year, Covina High School is in year 4 of a six-year, clear accreditation from the WASC Accrediting Commission for Schools. Our next accreditation cycle will commence in 2023."
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is responsible for giving schools and colleges their accreditation. They determine whether schools and colleges are doing a good job of preparing students for life after high school and college. The association sends educators from other schools to evaluate our teachers, students, staff, district personnel, and classrooms to determine that our school is providing high-quality learning and demonstrating continual self-improvement.
